About Nature Impact

Nature Impact transforms underutilised land into flourishing reserves for wildlife and communities. Our science-led recovery brings the land back to life, and secures it for nature, permanently.

We fund this work by selling measurable biodiversity improvements into two markets: the mandatory Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) market and the voluntary Nature Credits market. Today we manage a growing portfolio across Kent, Surrey, and East and West Sussex, with a clear mission: to deliver investable nature-based solutions for people and the planet.

Role overview

You'll own day-to-day marketing delivery for Nature Impact, working closely with the founders and a part-time Marketing Consultant. This is a broad, hands-on role covering content, campaigns, web, email and the occasional event, with plenty of room to grow as the company scales.

Key responsibilities

Brand & content

  • Execute campaign launches against the strategy set by the Marketing Consultant (e.g. Nature Credits, Science Programme)

  • Produce and update marketing collateral (e.g. project brochures, partnership proposals)

  • Support briefing of creatives for paid campaigns (e.g. LinkedIn Ads), working alongside external consultants when required

  • Implement tone of voice and brand conventions

Social media

  • Manage social content calendar – draft and schedule posts

  • Capture and edit lo-fi, phone-shot content (photos and video) from project site visits, including simple short-form edits for Reels-style social

  • Social scheduling and channel maintenance (e.g. LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram)

  • Track and report on social media performance metrics

Email & CRM

  • Plan, draft and schedule email communications and newsletters in line with the email and CRM strategy

  • Maintain and grow contact database, manage segmentation and list hygiene

  • Track and report on email and CRM performance metrics

Website

  • Manage and update website content

  • Implement AEO (answer engine optimisation) actions across the website and other digital channels, as directed by the strategy set by the Marketing Consultant

  • Plan and manage blog content – coordinating drafting and publishing posts

  • Track and report on website performance metrics

Events

  • Provide light-touch support to the Executive Assistant on brand events – e.g. helping brief content/collateral for an event, covering ad hoc admin when needed

  • Capture content at events Nature Impact exhibits at or hosts (photos/video for social, per the Social Media section above)

Supplier & operations management

  • Day-to-day briefing of creative and production suppliers (e.g. designers, video, photography)

  • Manage shoot logistics and asset delivery

  • Maintain marketing operations – coverage logs, asset libraries, databases, templates

  • Research tasks and general marketing admin

Skills & experience

  • 3+ years in a marketing or communications role

  • Proactive self-starter who can operate with a light-touch management structure

  • Strong copywriter with a confident brand voice

  • Comfortable owning a content calendar and managing multiple workstreams independently

  • Experience managing suppliers, partners, and third parties

  • Squarespace or similar CMS; LinkedIn, Canva, and basic analytics tools

  • Basic video and photo editing skills

  • Comfortable implementing SEO/AEO recommendations from a strategy brief – across website content and structure, and off-site activity such as reviews and backlinks

  • A basic understanding of performance marketing (e.g. LinkedIn Campaign Manager and Google Ads) a plus, not essential – campaign strategy and management sits with the Marketing Consultant and external consultants

  • Confident using AI tools (e.g. Copilot + Claude) to support content creation, research, and day-to-day marketing tasks
